During the year ESN Wageningen organizes many activities such as international kitchens, international student nights, excursions, sports activities, integration activities and much more.
In order to stay up to date with our activities, you can download the app, you can follow our Facebook page, follow our Instagram or have a look at the events on this website.
Are you missing something in our program or would like to organize something with us (for example an international kitchen)? Let us know! New ideas are always welcome!
Every month ESN Wageningen is organizing an international kitchen. Students from the same country prepare traditional 3-course meals for a group of more than 100 food lovers. During the evening, the cooks will tell more about their country, culture and of course about the food they prepared by giving a presentation or show. Be fast with signing up for the international kitchens, since this type of event tends to be full very fast!
Do you want to let other people taste the food from your home country that everyone should try? Let our activity coordinator know by sending an email to [email protected].
Every Monday, you can join ESN for a drink at Cafe Loburg. We arrange a different deal with Loburg in addition to the discount you already have with your ESNcard. During these International Student Nights, you can meet new people, catch up with friends and join the activity that is organized! Examples of the activities typically organized on the Mondays are karaoke night, speedmeet, or game night. Curious what the next International Student Night will be? Check the period planner, or find more information in the app, Facebook events or website.

In the Netherlands, and also in Wageningen, cycling is one of the most important means of getting around. Unfortunately, it can be quite challenging to obtain a cheap bike for a short period in Wageningen. For this reason, ESN has around 20 bikes which can be rented by students. It is also an easy way to provide a friend/ family member that comes here to visit you on a bike for the weekend.
Come by at our office during opening times to check if there are bikes available!! It is not possible to reserve a bike.
We always ask for a deposit in cash of €50.- per bike (we don’t have any change, so please have the exact amount with you)
Picking up or returning your bike is only possible during office hours.
The ESN Bike rental service has been made possible with the support of the Wageningen University Foundation. If you would like to know more about safe cycling in Wageningen we suggest to have a look at the following website: http://www.cyclinginwageningen.nl/
