The Winter AID Committee is recruiting!
Are you an open and enthusiastic person who likes organizing and do you want to be part of one of the most important yearly events for ESN Wageningen? Join the Winter AID Committee and make sure all the new students experience their best time in Wageningen!
What is expected from the Winter AID Committee
The Winter AID is in the second week of the re-exam weeks (10-15 February) and as one of the main organizers we will make a program full of activities like a pub quiz, city tour, Dutch kitchen, pub crawl and closing party (new ideas are always welcome!). As the Partnership & Project Manager of ESN Wageningen, it's my responsibility to make sure all these activities are well prepared and run smoothly. Since this is a lot of work, I have the Winter AID Committee of around 4/5 people (and of course my fellow board members as well) to help me put together an amazing program.
The committee members are expected to be present during the week of the Winter AID and available to help us during some of the activities. The first meeting with the committee will be in the 2nd week of period 3 and from then on I would like to have weekly meetings until the Winter AID. These meetings should take around 1 hour and we will use them to discuss the program and divide tasks. A special function in the committee is the 'captain promo'. As the captain promo, you will assist our lovely PR coordinator in making Facebook events, designing promotional material and making a promotion overview for the week.
What’s in it for you?
Joining the committee gives you the opportunity to improve your teamwork and organizing skills (and maybe promo skills) and to participate in a lot of activities of the Winter AID. You will meet lots of new students and it will be so much fun, I promise (:
You don't need any previous experience, all we ask of you is a little commitment and a lot of enthusiasm!
If you are interested in the committee or if you want more information / have questions, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
